Important antique Chinese Cizhou black-glazed russet-striped ceramic bowl. This bowl has extensive provenance, including publication, exhibition, and auction history. It has also been a part of multiple important collections. While previously dated to the Yuan Dynasty, with advancements in Chinese ceramic knowledge this bowl can now be accurately dated to the Jin Dynasty (1115-1234).
Approximately 7 1/8” (18cm) diameter. Excellent antique condition with no chips, hairlines, or restorations. Please zoom in and study all photos as they are part of the description.

J. Hellner Collection, Sweden, no Cg 13. Hellner was an important Swedish collector, and his collection label still resides on the base of the bowl.
