Wonderful Chinese carved white Hetian nephrite jade brush washer, in the form of a “Buddha’s Hand” finger citron. This comes from a 2024 DOYLE Auction, where Chinese Arts Specialist and well-known Antiques Roadshow appraiser Richard Cervantes dated it to the Qing Dynasty.
Beautiful detailed and life-like carving of a citron fruit among leafy branches, with russet highlights. Stone is of very good quality with a few cloudy white inclusions.
